Keep in mind the reason I got this item is because it was what was issued to me in the Marine Corps. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good optics limited only by the small size of the eyepieces... *by (***) on September 22, 2021* ...which result in vignetting - otherwise, it's a very satisfying compact binocular. The calibration/adjustment of the two lenses (left/right) is pleasingly/impressively accurate (for my eyes, it means no adjustment from zero). It feels great/sturdy. The eyepiece lens cover fits (very) tightly - and other reviewers have noted that the eye relief is prone to coming off with the lens cover (so forewarned is forearmed). When I hit the lottery, I'll get a huge unit with large lenses (stabilized, of course); but in the interim, I'm very happy with this one. 20-month update: Still very Happy with these. Best part: they’re light and compact; and as I’m typing this, they’re with me as I’m looking out the window of a cruise ship - meaning that they’re compact enough to stay on my hip - so they’re handy. I purchased them to carry. I’d love a bigger/more powerful pair - but I wouldn’t carry such a model as much as I do this compact one.
