I keep a towel on hand to wipe off every day so it doesn't get dusty or rusty. It did come with some tiny scratches but it was new. it's like coated metal so you can't avoid scratches but I think it is great. Easy to screw and assemble, and very light weight to move around as I set up my new garden. Love to eat at my new table and chairs! The roses are beautiful design. I am short so I fit well on the seat, but I don't think it's too tiny. I think it's a standard size that meets my needs, but make sure you measure for your needs. Exactly as pictured. Great purchase!
