He said he wiped it down with a water/bleach solution (more water than bleach) and hung it to dry. I don't think the rain wear would hold up very well in the washing machine. Hope that helped. **Q: Is this washable?** A: It says it is washable but I don't think I would wash it in my machine. It is very thin and I think the agitation of the machine might tear it. Since it was worn for a costume the person who wore it sponge washed it.
