Was their suppose to be?** A: Yes the oil filter box should contain the washers **Q: Will this work for a 2015 R1? What is the difference? I didn’t see it was for 2016 until too late.** A: Can't quite help ya but I got a 18 mt10 and the filter was shorter and the crush washer was different.
