Review: Great Product - I have a scar on my face from a dermatology procedure and started using New Gel Plus a month after everything was healed on my face. After 3 weeks of applying this product on my face two times a day, I can definitely see a difference. The redness is gone, and the scar is flattening. The product states it will reduce old and new scars which I would recommend for new scars but have not had any old scars to use it on.

I am able to layer my makeup and concealer over it once it sets. There is a little opaqueness to it, which is a result of the zinc however, it’s easily masked with a concealer or foundation. This is a lifesaver for me going into summer with fresh incisions on my face. Highly recommend and the price was great compared to other quality product products.

**Q: Is this better than zinc sunscreen for hyperpigmentation on the face?**
A: My understanding is probably not. The silicone is primarily to heal scars. The fact that it contains some sun protection in this formulation doesn’t change that it is intended to be used on small areas for that purpose and not primarily as a sunscreen.

**Q: Can you use this for the daytime and the new gel +e at night?**
A: I used it during the day

A: I rub it in (lightly to the touch)

**Q: Hello, is it possible to know the expiration date for the product?**
A: It is hard to read, but at the bottom end of the tube, the date is embossed on the tube.
