These are just blue led lights.... **Q: Where is the filter located inside of the assembled tank?** A: Hi. There is no lid on the top of the aquarium and the filter sits on the right hand side. It's a nice filter does a great job. We clean it once a week and replace the charcoal bag once a month. The yearly cost for the filters is about 11.99. It has a nice waterfall effect to it. My daughter who changes her mind so many times a day is still in love with her glo fish tank. I hope this helps. **Q: Does the tank have a glass top that the light fixture łays on** A: No. The lid is very thin black plastic and the light bar clips onto the rim of the tank on the front, inside under the lid. If I were to purchase again I would buy pieces separately in order to get better quality lid and lighting. **Q: Is the filter flow gentle enough for a Betta?** A: We have 1 small glo-fish in the tank and the filter is very gentle as it doesn't push the water around too much. Recently I opened the box when I got the right place to set it, it included everything in the box: ( filter, heater, light, decoration, food and water conditioner). The huge disappointment is the equipments are meant to be used in countries with 120V electricity not to be used in UAE where electricity is 240V. It’s useless set and I’m angry because this was sold by Amazon.AE who I trusted to buy from them. At least mention in the product informations that this set was made to be used with 120V electricity. For me it’s a wasted purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything included, nice kit, nice Aquarium *by on Reviewed in the United States 21 March 2025* Don't want to jinx myself since I set it up today, but everything seems to be perfect. The only thing off is the only the blue LED lights are working, but that's not a big deal. The tank is only 10 gallons but came with a heater and all kinds of things including water treatment and fish food. I'm going to cycle it for a while make sure that it's nice and clean and everything has settled since it's a planted tank I didn't use the plastic plants they don't contribute to the health of the little ecosystem but an aquarium is). The plants look good; the water's already looking clearer; the filter's working good, even though I do have a replacement bc people say that the filter isn't too great but so far so good. It looks like a really nice tank and I've had more luck with larger tanks but I needed a space where I could watch fish and have a nice planted prettiness with LED lights in my room. Probably won't get GloFish except maybe get some Danios and a nice bottom feeder and then maybe get some other Cardinal tetras or something equally zippy and bright to move around in there against all that black background. Very nice beginner aquarium, I recommend. Fingers crossed that there are no major problems but it really is looking pretty good! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for Betta fish *by on Reviewed in the United States 9 December 2021* The filter isn't too strong, that's something I was worried about but my Betta enjoys playing in it. Because I made mine a small community tank I went with a short finned Betta. There are 7 neon tetras, 2 otocinclus, 3(?) Snails only one of them was intentional, and my Betta fish Ronny. I'm not going to add anymore fish to the tank and for anyone wondering my Betta is the least aggressive Betta I've ever seen he's a little scaredy cat and I've never seen him flare up.
