The flame is the actual size as shown on the picture, nice big torch flame. I got a other torch before I got this one having the same size torch flame on their pictures as this one dose and it wasent even close in size. Way too small and skinny of flame,so I returned it. Only con for this torch is that you have to turn the knob to have flame go off, you cant set it to go off when you release your finger from the trigger,or set it to just have flame going,it just dose that, stays on until u turn the knob.So u need two hands to turn if off if you are holding it. Also it's hard to tell if the torch is filled up with butane from looking through the small view part. Some of these torch lighters works good for a while but then ends up braking ,like one I reciently got that has a huge flame but only lasted 3 weeks. So hopefully this item will last for a long time and I wont have to come back and write a bad review.
