We bought two YakGear Sand Dollar Kayak Cushions to use with our Wilderness Tarpon Kayaks to see if they would add a little more cushion for our 4-5 hour trips on the lakes.  Surprisingly the YakGear Sand Dollar Kayak Cushion was very comfortable on the tailbone and provided relief.  We were out on the lake for 5 hours the first time we used the YakGear Sand Dollar Kayak Cushions and did not have any pain or soreness.  We definitely recommend the YakGear Sand Dollar Kayak Cushion.

I gave this product three stars because it is sold as a kayak seat and it lives up to the title. The seat is very thin so it is merely a barrier between your rear end and the plastic seat of the kayak. The picture is misleading to me, as I thought it would be much thicker and comfortable. Also, for beginner kayakers, I would recommend a seat that also has at least some back support. This seat has none.
