Review: Works great, more secure than metal clip version - Fits my Keltec PMR-30 almost perfect.I had bought a cheaper, shorter no name version of this nylon holster that used a metal clip that slid in a slot on the holster & then you run your belt through or with that one you could slide the metal clip down over your belt, worked for a while but eventually got to where the holster would slide up & off the metal clip which in turn would fall off & hit the ground.Third time it did that, the holster with my gun in it fell off & hit concrete. That's enough so I bought the size 4 for my Keltec PMR-30 so you have to run your belt through the belt loop so there's no way it can detach itself from my belt.
Review: Great basic holster - I use this for my rough rider and although it's a lil big for it, it still keeps it from falling out with the clip on strap. Great for a basic holster for your wheelgun

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Solid Budget Holster That Gets the Job Done 👍🔫
*by H***R on April 14, 2026*

As someone who participates in the Amazon Vine program, I get the opportunity to try a wide range of products—both new releases and items that have been on the market for a while. I always aim to keep my reviews honest and practical. Reviews are subjective—what works great for me might seem average to someone else. Most of my ratings land at four stars when a product performs as expected but isn’t anything special. For something to earn five stars, it has to truly stand out. In the end, this is just my opinion—your experience may vary. Through the Amazon Vine Program, I received the Allen Company Cortez Nylon Gun Belt Holster (Size 3). 🔍 First Impressions Right out of the package, this holster feels like a straightforward, no-frills option. It’s made from nylon, so it’s lightweight and flexible compared to leather or molded hard-shell holsters. The overall construction is decent—nothing premium, but not poorly made either. The black finish gives it a clean, simple look, and it feels like it’s built for practical everyday use rather than anything fancy. 🔫 Fit & Retention I tested this with my Taurus Judge, and it actually fits securely, which is always the most important part of any holster. Holds the firearm in place without excessive movement Adjustable strap with snap closure adds an extra level of security Doesn’t feel like it’s going to slip out during normal movement For a nylon holster in this price range, the fit is better than I expected 👍 ⚙️ Comfort & Wearability One thing this holster does well is comfort. The nylon construction makes it: Lightweight Flexible against your side Easy to wear for extended periods The belt loop (fits up to 2-inch belts) holds it in place nicely, and it moves with you instead of feeling stiff or restrictive. It’s not a high-end carry setup, but for general use, it’s comfortable enough. ⚡ Accessibility & Draw The snap closure system is simple and functional: Easy to open when needed Keeps the firearm secure when closed The interior lining allows for a relatively smooth draw. It’s not lightning-fast like some high-end holsters, but it doesn’t snag or hang up either. 🛡️ Extra Features A couple of smaller details that are worth mentioning: Sight guard helps protect your firearm when holstering Snag-resistant interior helps with smoother draw Flexible design accommodates slight variations in firearm shape These aren’t groundbreaking features, but they add to the overall usability. 💲 Price vs Value At around $25.00, I’d say this is a fair deal for what you’re getting 💰 Not top-tier quality Not bottom-of-the-barrel either Falls right in that middle ground of affordable and functional You’re getting a holster that works without spending a lot, which is exactly what many people are looking for. ⚖️ Final Thoughts Overall, this is a solid, budget-friendly holster that does what it’s supposed to do. It holds the firearm securely, feels comfortable to wear, and offers decent accessibility. It’s not going to compete with high-end holsters in terms of materials or performance, which is why it lands at four stars—but it absolutely gets the job done. 👉 If you’re looking for an affordable, reliable nylon holster for range use or casual carry, this is still worth a try. 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Simple, functional, and a good value for the price.
