The size is good - allowing you to put it on nearly any body part or injury while controlling it with your hand. Also, unlike many other ice packs on Amazon, this one is easy to use - it does not require much force to break open. My only comment is on the length of time the product is cold. In my experience, it stays cold for about 5 minutes and then gradually warms up. Shaking it helps prolong the temperature, but that requires removing the pack from the affected area, decreasing the effectiveness.
