Especially regarding ADHD in women, this is not how ADHD affects them. So, if you like to have a first overview about ADHD and medical treatment, the book is ok. But if you want to help yourself as ADHD person, or you love one with ADHD and you would like an advice about how to do better together, do not spend money buying this book. He not only has ADHD but ODD, BPD, anxiety and depression. At first I believed he was a juvenile delinquent, antisocial. As he grew older I noticed he was very intelligent but dumb at the same time. He is now 37 but still has child like qualities, parts of him still behave like a teenager. After reading this book it was like someone turned on the lights. I didn't just think he had a problem I knew. This book could have been written by me. The sad thing is the doctors in the UK are not willing to believe he has a problem and are adamant that his "condition" is not treatable and just a personality..........
