Review: Nice harmonica - Every note plays in octaves to give a nice rich sound, with two complete octaves: EgGbCdEfGaCbEdGfCaEb. (capital letter is blow, lower case is draw). Sound is very full and bright, plastic comb is very comfortable and the gold color with red comb and red lettering is visually striking. I would recommend this as a harmonica to use on occasion for effect, while using my standard and solo tuned diatonic harmonicas for everyday use.

**Q: Is this made in Germany**
A: the case is marked,Made in DE. So i looked on line and it says it means, made in germany. Hope this is helpful, its a nice harp.

A: This is a diatonic tremolo harmonica, but I would not recommend it for playing blues or bending notes.

**Q: Is this a tremelo or diatonic please?**
A: It is a diatonic in that is only plays the notes of the C scale. Each hole has one reed for blow and another for draw. The top and bottom holes are one octave apart. A tremolo harmonica has two reeds for a note that are tuned very slightly above and below the target note. The Comet 2504-C is not a tremolo but Hohner does make a line of tremolo harmonicas. This is a great harmonica for playing old time tongue slap, or chord/ rhythm style. That is playing rhythm and melody at the same time providing self accompaniment. The sound is loud and full, and sounds like an accordion. This harmonica is best suited for lively folk tunes, and tunes that get your feet tapping. It is a very nice addition to whatever other harmonicas you may have..
