I'm a fair skinned redhead and I live in sunny California. These jackets are so thin, light, soft, and breathable (even the zipper is fine and soft), and I love that I don't have to pull it over my head. The hood is also nice and deep so I can put it up with my hair in a ponytail without it looking stupid. The hood is awesome when the sun is to your back. The zipper pockets are a nice touch but I don't put much in them because the fabric is stretchy so it looks weird if there's anything heavy in them. But you CAN if you need to. They fit pretty loose so if you want a more fitted look size down from what the size chart says (the one in the pictures, not the Amazon generalized size chart). I have a 29" waist and 37" bust and a small is fitted but not tight at all. I can layer it over other clothes in cool weather and it still isn't too tight.
