These are wonderful. I wish they were less expensive but we are saving them for special occasions. I’m also addicted to the Aretha pancake mix and will use no other brand since I’ve become a real fan.

A review of waffle makers cited this recipe as their favorite, and made from scratch, it is indeed excellent.  This product is the same, all dry ingredients in it, you add the fresh ones (eggs, oil, etc.), and excellent waffles.  Aretha Frankenstein's is a wildly popular place in Chattanooga TN, the line for breakfast and brunch goes around the block, this is an easier way to experience it.  There also is a pancake mix, have it but have not tried it yet.  The Cuisinart WAF-300 is the maker we got, top-rated, $84 via Amazon, more expensive than other units that produced excellent and consistent waffles but not as easy to clean nor as flexible as this Cuisinart unit.  Enjoy!
