The comments are stating cream and light gray. which is it?** A: It is a medium to lighter gray, with cream/white markings. It is not dark. It falls just about my cream wall on the spectrum of light to dark. But when you vacuum the rug, or move the fibers a bit, it can look a bit darker or lighter depending on which way to push them. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Know what you are getting.... *by M***S on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2018* I purposely chose a less expensive rug as I have two very young grandchildren and I will be moving in the next year or so and whatever I chose might not work in my new space. So I crossed my fingers and ordered. The thickness was about what I expected and it is very soft, but not plush. Once I get a rug pad underneath it I'm sure if will feel even better. The overall dark grey color blends well with the taupe stone around my fireplace and taupe chairs. What I do not like about this rug is the variation of color in the background, combined with the pattern it comes off busier than I was expecting - if you are ordering a larger size there are more pattern repeats than shown in the photos. The BIG reason for 3 stars is the binding, it is very poorly bound on the corners with many gaps in the threads. It is also cut unevenly on one end. You will want a rug pad as the back is very rough feeling and will wear on the finish of your floor and may even damage wall-to-wall carpet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Looks better than the pictures *by C***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2018* I accidentally ordered two different rugs on Amazon from two different companies, and I was going to return this one. When I saw this one, I knew I would have to return the other one. This rug is beautiful. I got the 9' x 12' rug for our living room. It has so many different subtle colors in it. Of course, there are shades of grey and white, but there is also a hint of blue. It really is beautiful. Unlike some other reviews, I had no trouble with creases or edges not settling. It lays really well.
