Oddly, when mixed it is not pink. The mix is white like vanilla. I had to add strawberry syrup to the batch to make it look right. Also, after mixing there was something at the bottom of the mixing bowl that looked like wax beads. I used an electric whisk and stirred a long time and they wouldn't blend in. I filtered out the beads and put the mix in the soft serve machine and it's not too bad.
