He was wanting something to hang up his ties and belts so they are out of the way. This rack was really easy to install into the interior of his closet. The hooks don't stick out a whole lot, so it may not work for thick, heavy robes or coats, but it will work well lighter weight items. The simple, basic design works for all styles of decor. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful rack but maybe a wee small for normal sized coats *by K***. on Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2017* Don't get me wrong, this is a beautiful looking rack BUT, in my humble opinion, way too small for a "coat rack" hence the taking away of one-star, unless of course, you have tiny coats. I have not found a place to hang it yet. Still deliberating. I am thinking kitchen for potholders and such. I LOVE the brushed stainless steel and though small, it appears to be very sturdy. It looks super easy to install and is padded on the back. Would be great to hang jewelry on, like necklaces and bracelets. So many possibilities; I just need to pick one. I put a standard size ink pen next to it in the photos to give you an idea of size. I am actually using this in my bathroom for hanging my towels on instead of a coat rack. I do think it is a bit small for a coat rack, but it works perfectly in my bathroom. It was easy to install and has thin padding on the back so as to not mess up the wall, which was great. It seems super sturdy but only time will tell I suppose. I have three young boys so pulling on things happens a lot around here, I am interested to see how well it handles being tugged on all of the time.
