First of all: This HDMI 2.0b Audio Extractor, Splitter, Converter is not constructed of quality material. The main components is housed in a plastic casing that comes apart very easily without much force. It's like constructed of cheap particle board. The ports for inserting the HDMI and O cable in isn't soddered onto the main board firmly enough. They pushed in when I tried inserting the required cables. The video signal being transmitted from the unit to my TV is very shaky. You have to keep cycling the On/Off switch to stabilize the picture. Even then, after say 30 minutes of viewing a movie the color distorts and the audio becomes very staticky. Worst of all the unit stopped working after less then 3 weeks of use. Tried contacting customer service about the problem. They couldn't even understand what I clearly spelled out in the support email. Guess I know why so many Amazon consumers ask was a product produced in the United States.
