I select the homeopathic remedy that matches the symptoms along with the cell salt(s) and take them each about 15-60 minutes apart, or just alternate them throughout the day. The cell salts can stand alone as a single remedy as well, as is the focus of this book. Cell salts are based on specific 2-part combinations of minerals as defined by Dr. Schuessler, a German medical doctor and practicing homeopathic physician from the 1850s. The author does an excellent job of putting the information together - and he includes some treatments for standard illnesses with each cell salt description. This is an excellent guide for humans as well as for your pets or livestock. (Animals respond very well to homeopathy, but there are no references to animals in this book, just an FYI.) My only criticism is that it lacks an index. IMO an index is crucial to a reference book so I usually deduct at least 2 stars when one is omitted (something that's regrettably becoming more frequent in these days of self publishing) but this is still a great little book so no deductions. If the author ever adds an index I will purchase a replacement. The fact that the author is selling this for such a reasonable price speaks to his purpose. Clearly, he is more focused on providing sound information to the masses than making a profit.
