Review: These work exactly as advertised. - I got these clamps as I was tired of trying to flatten panels after they glued up with a tiny bit of a misalignment. I bought four clamps (two sets of two) for a six foot panel and used a couple of pipe clamps to fill in some empty spots and they pulled the boards into alignment even thought they started out over an 1/8th off. Love what they do! They are a bit difficult to use as they are fiddly - the metal pieces want to reseat themselves while you're sliding the boards in place. But once everything is in place, they work very well. Highly recommended.

**Q: What thickness of wood should be used for assembling the clamps?**
A: I'm using 1 5/8" square hardwood 30" long.  The bracket will not allow wider sizes.  Best panel clamps I've found.  Remember you need one clamp every 12".

**Q: Can I glue up (5) 2x10's flat together with these clamps or in sections (3 boards then 2 boards and these 2 section together) total 46-1/2" wide**
A: These aren't actually complete clamps.  They are the hardware required to BUILD a pair of clamps.  You provide the boards to complete the clamps.  That being the case, you are only limited by the length of boards you supply.  So yes, you can clamp the width you mention, all in one go.  If your project is more than, say, 3 feet long, you might consider buying 2 sets of these, to better distribute the clamping force.  I hope this helps.

**Q: What is the minimum wood panel thickness that you can use with these clamps.  Can you glue up 1/2” panels?**
A: no

**Q: Can I order additional black plastic pieces in addition to a set to make different length clamping bars**
A: Sure, but wouldn't try to make a barn door!

I got these clamps as I was tired of trying to flatten panels after they glued up with a tiny bit of a misalignment. These clamps are the greatest. No more fooling around with bent panels. They do require a little bit of patience when setting up but they do apply equal pressure against all 4 sides (and get great results). Yes, I am buying more

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not What I Expected

I ordered these and was really excited about the price but I failed to notice something. As I put them together I found that I was missing something! The wood they attach too! This is on my but I thought it would come with everything needed. This is just the hardware (brackets, clamps, etc). It will not come fully assembled, you'll have to do some of that and then find your own boards to cut, joint, and use. I do not have my own boards nor do I have a jointer so these are not usable for me. If you have a jointer then great! If you were expecting usability out of the box, you won't have that. Overall though the quality is 4 star. Not amazing but reasonable for the price. Be prepared for some of the pieces to seem like they're backward. You'll just have to flip them inside out if they come this way- not a problem but was noted in some other reviews.
