Review: Great in Kimchi and Shortbreads Cookies - I use this glutinous rice flour for kimchi. Though regular rice flour is recommended to make shortbread cookies, I've used this a few times with great results (using only 1/4 cup rice flour and remainder 1 3/4 cups AP flour). The rice flour makes the cookies softer and flakier.

**Q: Is this labeled gluten free? I rarely trust products that dont specifically mention it.  High risk of cross contamination in most things.**
A: It is not labeled as gluten free. However, I have been using it to make my own gluten few flour mix for several years as I am a celiac patient.  I’ve not had any problems with it in my cooking.

**Q: is this made from short grain rice?**
A: If you see glutinous rice flour, it’s always from glutinous short rice ..

**Q: Does this have sugar already in it?**
A: No there is no sugar added, just plain glutinous rice flour.

**Q: For coating pork do I use sweet or not sweet glutinous rice flour?**
A: Depending on if you want to season the flour yourself or not but personally, I would use plain, not sweet.
