After a thorough scrub, with the tiles still appearing white, I applied 2 coats of the sealer to the walls, and 3 to the floor. The shower looks like new again and the product was very easy to apply with little odour and very little clean up required. I will use this product routinely on my slate and try it on my other natural stone floor tiles! I'll be using it for about 30 stones approx 7"x7"** A: We applied it to a slate floor with a wool pad applicator, made for applying floor finishes. Worked well. We were going to use a paint roller, but since the instructions didn't mention that in its list of ways to apply, I was worried it may create bubbles or cause problems. The instructions do list a pad applicator, paint brush, or low presure sprayer. The consistemcy out of the bottle is about like skim milk, or watered down Elmers glue. Dries within an hour, pleasant smell, easy to work with. Did 3 coats. We are extremely pleased with the results. **Q: fire pit sealers for hi heat?** A: I'd have to say no on that one. It could probably take a little heat but anything close to direct flames, forget it. **Q: I am building a bar in my basement that has a stone front. Would this be a good product to enhance the stone color and give it a more lively look?** A: If you are looking to enhance the color and seal your stone please use our Color Enhancer. I just wrote a review for the color enhance product applied to my brick fireplace, average size 3 side wrap around, mantle and load ledge. I applied the Wet Look product after dry time of sealant. Easy, fast application with brushes, 3" and narrow 1" for mortar crevaces this time. At first I applied along the grain pattern of brick, then I started going across grain, not sloppy, dabbed off excess brush capture before each brush dip. 1 quart again the right size for my job. The result was even better! Now I have a natural looking end result where color is further enhanced and the gloss is variegated. My brick is nearly dawn of time, with many textures, no illusions here. Not a glassy glossy epoxy look. Rather super clean, well cared for, intriguing color and hue with gloss. It no longer looks dusty, crushed with ash and so old we should rebuild it. So happy with the product in Colebrook, NH!✨️ to private for a picture, sorry. Not a liar, however.
