A: 2268 grams in this 5 lb. container and well worth it.

**Q: What is the shelf life of this food?**
A: I have kept it for at least 6 mts

**Q: Whats the difference between this one and big fellas... re both for african cichlids?? My peacock are around 4-6.5 inches**
A: Don't know as I use this food for my SALT WATER fish.  If it's any help, my Emperor Angelfish is 7 inches long and he eats it...

**Q: Are these sinking pellets?**
A: yes, these are sinking pellets.  They are small in size so these for small to med size fish.  My fish love them while they pass by fish food bought at Walmart or PetSmart.
