These rubber coasters have a really neat design and they are a good size for our larger coffee mugs. They are made from 100% recycled rubber which is neat and Eco friendly. Not to mention they are made in the USA. A friend asked us where we got these from so they do start a conversation but most people won't know they are made from recycled rubber unless you tell them.The only reason I couldn't give these 5 stars is due to their size. Our older cork coasters were great thin and large. Even if your iced tea was accidentally left sit on the table overnight the water (condensation) would be contained to the coaster. With these rubber coasters they are about 1/4 inch thick so if you don't have the cup on the coaster completely it will fall over. They aren't as big around as I was hoping and the painted rubber allows water to lay on them and run off. So this could be considered good or bad. The coaster do just what they should keep the water / water ring off the wooden table and they don't soak up the water and become soggy or wet with water. Just may have to wipe off the water.
