This item was made in China, not unusual today, the instructions were very difficult to follow and at times not correct. The clock itself will not keep proper time (hours of the day) and it changes from 12 to 24 hour time. I set the correct time five times only to return several hours later to find the clock time was totally wrong and never the same hours or minutes off.
