In my first test it kept my insulin at 40 degrees for 22 hours but might have gone longer, but I opened it up to check at the 22 hour mark in time. **Q: My wife has a Pen and I have two vials reguraly insulin will they fit?** A: My wife is on Forteo for osteoporosis. It will hold one of her pens. Would not be able to put anything else in it at the same time. Not sure bout holding two vials of insulin. This is a nice unit though. If you put blue bottle in freezer of refrigerator for 8 hours And then transfer to Dison travel case, it will keep contents between 36 and 46 degrees F or 2 to 8 degrees C for 24 or 25 hours. hope this helps.
