Before I applied this, I could feel the metal of the Ironing board when I was Ironing. This Brabantia felt underlay makes it easier to Iron in less time. I'm thankful that I have really sharp scissors, because the felt is thick. I do own the Brabantia Ironing board in a size "D" ...When you go to cut this. Turn the Ironing board upside down and lay the board on the felt and trace around it with a thin marker.
