The 8360, 1-Ton Beam Trolley may be used on 6″, 7″, and 8″ standard I-beams.

The beam sizes have the following dimensions:

- 6" tall x 3.330" flange width
- 7" tall x 3.660" flange width
- 8" tall x 4.000" flange width

However, a longer Grade 5 bolt and additional washers may be purchased at a local hardware store to expand the trolley a little bit further.

**Q: What size I beam do I need for a 15 foot span witb this product?**
A: All overhead steel engineering applications should be confirmed with calculations by a registered professional engineer. A rule of thumb used for simple applications is that the depth of the beam (in inches) should be half or more of the span (in feet). Therefore for a 15 feet span the beam should be greater than 7-1/2 inches. A beam type S-8 ( 8 inch I-beam) should be appropriate. This Webb trolley fits 6, 7, and 8 inch I-beams. It can be used on beams larger than 10" with an adapter kit.
