Great fitment and perfect size for chips and nvme SSDs. Highly durable after 3 years of use and very easy to install.

I ordered this having done to the same mod to my sabrent drive to drop temps a year ago(67c to 30c,The long M.2), my goal was to get a dell G5 SE idle temps down form the high 90's in fanless low power mode. Most new laptops don't use thermal pads to contact the case to vent out the heat, this is good for putting a laptop on the lap but most ppl use them at a desk/table and this mod can drop temps by pushing the heat into the laptops shell. if anyone try's this i recommend a laptop cooling pad to amp the cooling effect. Bonus info for tech minded plus sides , massive drop in temps (in C) over 50c. fans spin up less in use . gained 0.30 Ghz , now maintains a clean 3.80ghz under final fantasy 14 maxed gaming load. Downsides - You need to have a laptop with a removeable rear to make use of this as the pads must contact the metal heat spreaders. You need to open your laptop , can void warranty's . laptops tend to pump more voltage/clocks if there is more cooling, can limit the bonus cooling effect. This mod is very useful on fanless laptops/netbooks/macs - lots of how to's on the tube Edit , cleaned up a photo
