Review: Excellent Recovery Rope - Unfortunately, I was only able to use my recovery rope once before it was shredded. That being said; the rope is very nicely made and it performed amazingly for towing a dead truck back home. The individual I was helping accidentally ran over the rope twice, but it is definitely harder than it seems to explain to someone how to avoid doing so. I was able to tow his truck up a couple steep (paved) hills with no problem and we eventually got the truck back to his house about 2 1/2 miles from where he was stopped. The rope was ruined after this, I have included photos of the aftermath. I highly recommend this product to someone who may be thinking about looking elsewhere. Of course I did not manage to exceed the ropes weight rating by any stretch of the imagination, so I could totally see it performing excellent under way more strain. I recommend for someone looking for a good quality, affordable recovery rope to add to their recovery kit.

I feel like I can recover a buried tank with this. In all seriousness, I’m very happy with the purchase so far. Of course the real test will be when I put this to the test. I purchased this kinetic recovery rope because I live in the Outer Banks, NC. We offer get tourists that think they can drive their AWD Hondas on the beach. That might work in FL or somewhere where the sand is compacted but the sand here is super soft and requires trucks with 4WD. This rope will be used to help stuck knuckleheads that I feel are worthy of my help. I’ll post an update when I use it but I’d say if your looking at this particular one, go ahead and pull the trigger. It’s made very well. To put it into perspective, I also bought some cheap soft shackles, the quality between those and this rope are like night and day. I’ll probably return the cheap soft shackles and shell out more money to get something to match the quality.

**Q: Is it 4,400 lbs or 44,000 lbs it says 2 different things. Im thinking it 44,0000 lbs since its a 1 in rope?**
A: Yes, 44,000. I’ve jerked out F-150 pickup out at the lake buried to the frame. I was not successful pulling out a one ton buried to the frame. But the rope help together. I gave about 6 high power snatches. Awesome rope.

**Q: What are the specifications of this rope? Is it made with Nylon66 or a combination of what? Made in where? Warranty?**
A: All of these questions are in the product description.  I found the answers in 30 seconds.

**Q: Is the rope material made of nylon or polyethylene?**
A: Most kinetic recovery ropes are made of nylon.  This is because nylon fiber can be bonded together with dips and coatings to give the steep braid shape memory.  Thick protective coatings ca also be bunded to loop ends to prevent wear.
But most soft shackles and synthetic winch line are made of high strength, ultra-drawn, high density polyethylene fiber (Spectra and Dynema are some of the trade names and it competes with more expensive Kevlar para-aramid liquid crystal polymer fiber)

Unfortunately, I was only able to use my recovery rope once before it was shredded. That being said; the rope is very nicely made and it performed amazingly for towing a dead truck back home. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality but I broke mine

I used it quite a few times for smaller vehicles and it worked perfect. I however used it not too long ago for a stuck bus and it apparently has no stretch left. It felt like I hit a wall and had zero give. I loved mine up to that point other than the crappy bag it came in, but I wish it had a lifetime warranty or even a year or two
