This is an excellent shampoo for her. She doesn't have itchy or problematic skin, but indoor heating in winter has such a drying effect on skin and hair, I wanted to use something moisturizing and not drying that cleansed well. This shampoo leaves her coat clean, soft, and shiny, and has a light, fresh scent; she rarely scratches. She is now 11 years old. it's the second time I've bought this shampoo, and the only one I use. For the rest of her skin care, I put a little olive oil in her food, brush her every about twice a week, and wash only when noticeably dirty, especially during winter when the slush, mud, and oil from the streets are hard to remove just by wiping her down after a walk, which I always do. Although she hates baths, eventually I have to bathe her anyway! I very highly recommend this shampoo.
