Once it reaches the temperature it’s been set on then it adjusts accordingly… these are such good heaters, warm up quickly, really efficient and clean, well worth the money 😜 **Q: Please be clear on the ad subject , is this oil filled or oil free ?** A: Thank you for your enquiry, this is stating that it is the oil free version, there are oil filled radiators that are similar, you would need to check the description as it will confirm this **Q: How close can it be to a wall?** A: This heater is only freestanding. If you have any other questions about this heater please contact us on gdhv.customersupport@glendimplex.com **Q: How heavy is the heater? What length is the cable?** A: The cable is 1.8 metres. The weight is advertised as 10.4 (although on the Dimplex site it is 10.2). However, I did not lift it far, I just slid the box. It was quite easy lifting it from box and after that, once the wheels are attached, it just glides, so problem. You could probably lay it on it's side to gently slide it from box if you felt unable to lift it. It's not as heavy as oil filled versions. ## Frequently Bought Together - Dimplex 1.5kW Radiator ECR15, Oil Free Eco Column Heater, Freestanding Electric Heating Unit, Quiet Plug In Lightweight Portable Compact Electric Home Heater with Thermostat – White - Dimplex OFRB7N Eco Chico Mini Radiator, Oil Free Column Heater, Freestanding 700w Electric Heating Unit, Quiet Plug In Lightweight Portable Compact Electric Home Heater with Thermostat – White - Defender 24 Hour Segment Timer Switch - Energy Saver Plug Standard Size - Programmable Time Controller --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/326892026-dimplex-ecr15-oil-free-portable-radiator-1-5kw-electric-heater](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/326892026-dimplex-ecr15-oil-free-portable-radiator-1-5kw-electric-heater) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
