This watermelon slicer is one of the best kitchen gadgets ever, and I am wondering why it took so long for it to be invented. My kids love watermelon, but I don't buy it often because it is such a messy pain to cut up. This gadget is easy to use and makes slicing and serving watermelon easy and clean. First, you slice the watermelon in half with a regular knife, then you use this gadget to quickly and easily slice the watermelon inside the rind. Finally, you gently squeeze together the handle (nicely covered in silicone so it is not sharp) and lift out the slice to serve. Easy peasy.
