He is a teacher and has to carry around his lap top and any other necessities. The great thing about this bag is the multiple compartments it has. The lap top stays in the compartment closest to the back which in a sense gives it more protection. That same compartment has a zipper to place any items needed for your lap top or whatever else you may need. The middle zipper compartment has places for pens and pencils and smaller pockets to be used for items such as post it notes, paper clips and so on. The zipper compartment to the front does not have any pockets and since there is a zippper front pocket it's not that big of a deal there isn't one in there. The straps are easy to move to make the backpack closer or further away from the body. The handle on top doesn't seem very durable. I feel as though if someone were to accidentally step on it, the handle would bend completly. The material seems good and we haven't check to see if it's actuallly waterproof as of yet but living in Florida; it's only a matter of time where he may get stuck in a down pour running to his car. I will update my review if needed.
