Filtrete MPR 1900 Air Filters, made by 3M, helps capture unwanted particles from household air to contribute to a cleaner, fresher home environment. Designed with exclusive Filtrete 3-in-1 technology, including a high MPR 1900 and MERV 13 rating, your AC filter will help pull and capture countless microparticles – such as pet dander, smoke, bacteria, and viruses while letting cleaner air flow through. Filtrete Filters also capture large particles, including lint, pollen and household dust. This filter is also certified asthma and allergy-friendly® (1). Use a 3-month pleated 1-inch home HVAC filter in your furnace, air conditioner or HVAC system. For optimal performance of your heating and cooling system or HVAC system, change your furnace filter at least every 90 days. Note: For easy replacement reminders, create a change countdown in the Filtrete Smart App. Simply use the app to scan the barcode on your filter’s packaging, then choose 30, 60 or 90 days for your replacement countdown. When the filter’s life is up, you’ll get a notification to change your filter. The No. 1 Recommended HVAC Air Filter Brand (3), Filtrete Home Air Filters provide the technology needed to change how we clean our air, by filtering out particles both large and invisible, to help contribute to a cleaner, healthier home for ourselves and our families. The electrostatic filter attracts and captures airborne dust, pollen, dust-mite debris, lint, mold spores, pet dander, smoke, smog, bacteria, particles that can carry viruses, and particles that can carry odors. With each pass through the specially pleated filter, the air in your living space improves, making for a healthier home environment. This high-performance filter outperforms comparable non-electrostatic fiberglass and washable and reusable one-inch filters. Electrostatic Design Captures More Particles The 3M Ultimate allergen reduction filter is made with both positively charged and negatively charged fibers that act like tiny magnets to attract air-polluting contaminants. Since particles in the air are either positively or negatively charged, they are attracted to and captured by the filter and kept out of your living space. Electrostatic filters, including the 3M Ultimate allergen reduction filter, perform better than comparable non-electrostatic fiberglass and washable/reusable filters, because they attract and capture the small, allergy-aggravating microparticles that non-electrostatic filters can't. Improves Indoor Air Quality With indoor air a surprising two to five times more polluted than outdoor air, the 3M Ultimate allergen reduction filter can make a difference in maintaining a healthier home environment by cleaning air with each pass through the filter. The 3M Ultimate allergen reduction filter features a 1900 Microparticle Performance Rating (MPR), which means it is able to capture large and small particles from the air, including household dust, pollen, dust-mite debris, mold spores, pet dander, smoke, smog, bacteria, particles that can carry viruses, and particles that can carry odors. This high-performance filter meets American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest Health House Program’s indoor air quality guidelines. Improves Efficiency This high-performance allergen-reduction filter also keeps your heating and air conditioning equipment working efficiently by removing dirt and reducing strain on the motor. It is recommended that you change the filter every three months. However, the effectiveness and life of the filter can vary and depend on the individual conditions in your home. About Filtrete Air Filters For nearly 25 years, Filtrete filters have delivered cleaner air to millions of homes, becoming a leader in residential air filtration. Developed by 3M engineers to help capture airborne allergens, the Filtrete filter media is electrostatically charged to act like tiny magnets to attract and capture microscopic particles from the air as it passes through the filter. Today, a dedicated technical team continues to develop innovative filtration solutions for around the home, including air cleaning filters, room air purifiers, and water filtration products. The actual size is slightly under 16x25x1, as expected, and it slides in snugly with no gaps.• It captures fine particles like pollen, pet dander, and smoke, and the filter was visibly gray when I swapped it out.• A 4-pack is a good value and covers a full year on the 3-month schedule.• Sturdy frame that doesn't bend or collapse when installed. What could be better:• MERV 13 is more restrictive, so check that your system can handle it. Some older units may strain.• Heavy dust or pets may mean changing it sooner than 3 months.Tip: Write the install date on the frame and set a phone reminder. Make sure the airflow arrow points toward the furnace or blower. If you want better air quality at a fair price, I'd recommend these. I'll be reordering when I run out. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arrived in Perfect Condition *by on Reviewed in the United States December 24, 2025* Exactly what I ordered and arrived quickly and well packaged.
