Review: Great alternative to APC originals - Works well with my APC SMT-750i. Just use the connections from the original battery pack. Only problem was some sticky tape that would keep it down but after placing it back into the UPS it was not a problem.

**Q: Is there a core charge, or one need returned?**
A: No core charge or return

**Q: Should I trickle charge the battery before installing?  I've seen on the internet some people recommending this.**
A: It is always wise to top off new batteries. they lose some charge in storage before they sell. By doing so it " trains " your battery into having a smoother future charge and discharge.

**Q: Will this battery replace a yuasa np7-12fr 7.0 ah sealed lead-acid battery?**
A: The "FR" means flame retardant. Unless you have a special application, the regular battery without the FR should be fine. Same size. Same voltage. Same capacity.

**Q: may we use this to replace our Battery backup Battery?**
A: It depends on size, voltage, and terminals. I used it as an exact fit for my home alarm battery backup.

I ordered this battery for my UPS (uninterrupted power supply). I don't mind paying a bit more for the Yuasa brand, they are the best, not all batteries are made the same and there is a lot of junk out there these days, you get what you pay for, but some low quality batteries are still expensive. This Yuasa battery will last much longer than cheaper ones. It works perfect so I gave it 5 stars.
