Doesn’t kill them all, but kills enough to make them not a problem. This plus a VERY well draining soil reduced their population to be negligible. Try mixing in a lot of pumice, perlite, sand, gravel and such, especially in larger pots and make sure they are not sitting in water and it helps a lot with fungus gnats, add the stickies it shouldn’t be a problem. I suggest taking the stickies down temporarily before visitors come over, and not getting dirt on the stickies as dirt will stick to it.
