The ingredients read "natural and artificial flavors. It is also sugar free. My throat often gets so dry that it is uncomfortable-- especially when a water source is not handy. This gum solves the problem. I find it pleasant to chew and it does not stick to dental work. One piece soothes and moisturizes my mouth for at least a couple of hours. It is also a mild breath freshener.
