## Description

The DISPETTE 2 saline pack contains 100 tubes and reservoirs prefilled and ready to use with a 0.9% Saline diluent., for qualitative estimation of the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR or Sed-Rate). Manufactured with a minimum 2.55mm internal bore to prevent “cell bouncing” or the impedance of proper cell sedimentation. Polystyrene design is shatterproof and safe to handle “Triple plug” tip design provides a unique protective barrier from accidental overfilling of the pipet tube and spillage of blood Pierceable reservoir cap provides greater tactile feedback during pipet insertion and eliminates the need to remove the cap before insertion, improving safety. Reservoir cap provides enlarged mixing space to ensure adequate mixing of blood and saline “Sealing ring” molded into reservoir below fill line ensures correct filling when inserted into the reservoir and helps to prevent leaks - Restricted end of reservoir acts as an extra safety feature — slows downward movement of the tube during insertion and providing a buffered stop Pre-filled reservoirs ensure the correct dilution following recommended Westergren ESR method when 1mL of EDTA blood is added CLIA-waived. Meets NCCLS/ICSH guidelines Please note: This package does not include any stand. It can be ordered separately (FH1705: DISPETTE leveling stand).
