It definitely takes a little getting used to but I see it as a great, safe, way to continue to overload after I have completed my programmed working sets. It keeps form on point and really seemed to take strain off of my shoulders.I highly recommend for people to give it a try. Having my own (that actually fits) is certainly the way to go! This really helps to break through a plateau. Allows you to get used to lifting heavier weights in a safer way, giving assistance at the bottom of the press where shoulders and elbows are most strained. I was able to push 20 more pounds on the first day.
