Ridiculously awesome futuristic high chair/lounger
The media could not be loaded. We like cool, futuristic, well-designed stuff - plain and simple. We have the Mima Xari stroller and love it. It was a no-brainer to get the Mima Moon once we saw the functionality and convertibility from an infant/baby lounger to high chair. If this is in your price range and you want dope stuff for your baby, this is an easy buy.At the time of purchase (July 2024), the full retail price is $600; we purchased for $300. Throw in 15% baby registry completion discount and done deal. The item title says "high chair only" but all the accessories came, so no clue what that means. We received the hydraulic base and the chair as well as the infant headrest, booster seat, tray etc (see pictures). We wanted mobility so we can roll baby around the apartment - as such, we installed 3 inch lockable caster wheels and they work just swell. In total, six (6) wheels were used for maximum stability. Using 3/16" diameter screws on the stem screws would be a perfect fit; but since using large wheels (3/8" stem screws), a bit of work with power drill and metal drill bits were needed. Otherwise, the flat rubber pads will keep the entire contraception non-moving.One design flaw: the shoulder straps in the 5-point harness keep separating from the lap belt and that is frustrating. A super simple tweak in the hook design to prevent the strap from coming loose (think all car seat harnesses) would make this item perfect. Our simple fix was to attach double sided tape to secure the straps, which is easy and trivial to re-adjust.One side note: we purchased and started using this in the dead of summer and the infant/baby headrest is a fleece-like material, which definitely made baby hotter even with AC running - we simply added a bamboo sheet on top, which mitigated the heat a great deal. Now, let me address the negative review comments, since I do not agree with them all:Review Titled "Impractical High Chair":- terrible strap design: agreed (see above for easy fix, further agreed shouldn't be required)- unstable/lean: totally disagree, adjust to less upright chair position (lounger position) to strap in a fussy baby/child- heavy: add wheels!- small tray table: subjective, kinda agree but can't fully opine since not yet using this part- tilt/angle difficult: no issues here at all; find the right angle/leverage when manipulating, it's not that hard really- tray table design: yes, it takes a couple times to align and get used to, but found the design to be very intuitive once you look at how it attaches (use your eyes and common sense and then show the older caretakers?)Review Titled "Dangerous! Do not buy":- auto-slide: we have NOT found the chair slides down to recline/lounger position on its own. Just make sure the latch/lock is secure; how about a bit of attention to detail and common sense?? Most likely this happens because the lock was not secured: how can you blame the design if it's user error??- chair falls off when picking up: highly disagree here- the chair locks securely into the base similar to standard weight machines in the gym and is IMPOSSIBLE to detach without intentionally doing so; separately, while we agree the hydraulic base can be better designed to twist lock in place (think standard high-end office chairs), it doesn't seem this is designed to be lifted from the support rod: our solution was to install wheels to move around (see above)Overall, super happy with this purchase especially at $299 price and with addition of wheels and minor tweak to the 5-point harness with double-sided tape, we're pretty ecstatic. The pros WAY outweigh the cons.Baby deserves the best!

Dangerous! Do not buy!
One star is too high for this product. This is hands down the worst baby product to exist. It is dangerous and constantly slides down to the recline position unexpectedly. If you pick it up the chair may fall off. It can be hard to lock the seat back into place. This product is scary for children to sit in. If it was $5.99, I wouldn’t recommend this DANGEROUS product.

Impractical High Chair
Pros:- Design- All parts come apart to clean, specially straps clip out easilyCons:- Terrible strap design- baby is unstable in the seat while attempting to fasten strap and can easily fall out when leaning forward- child’s body got stuck in the strap clip regardless of extra attention every tim- when child is placed on the chair they need to be held in place while fastening strap, or child can easily lean out- very heavy- small table- tilt/ angle changing requires a lot of force- impractical Table design - clips in with difficulty and needs precision (very hard for older caregivers)All and all, not a practical high chair.
