We wash hands before AND after snacks, and meals, so on an average day we use this 36 times per day, and it lasts us close to 4 months per bottle! I also have 5 children of my own who use this before and after supper, and on the weekends. It lasts a VERY long time! I love that it foams, because despite my efforts to teach proper hand washing, the little ones still manage to do it wrong. Proper hand washing is: wet your hands first, then get soap, work up a good lather with lots of bubbles, then rinse. The bubbles in the soap are meant to trap and lift the germs off your skin, and then rinse them away down the drain. With out getting water first, liquid hand soap doesn't bubble up well, and germs are left behind. With the foam I can be sure the germs are being rinsed away even if the kids get soap first instead of water! This soap is NOT antibacterial which I'm a fan of. It's good for our septic tank, and good for the health of my family and daycare kids. It is also soft, feels creamy, and doesn't dry out your hands with repeated washing during the day like some other soaps can. I know it looks expensive, but I'm at a point in my life where I'll spend good money on soap, and good hand washing to keep my family, and business healthy during our long winters in Northern Wisconsin!
