It Works great, looks great, and has held up nicely for several years now. It cuts nicely, doesn't snag or run when cutting and stapling, is incredibly sonically transparent, and you can't see through it at all. My darn cats have climbed up and down them a few times and I don't have any snags from their claws. I posted about the actual performance and build of my acoustic panels on Gearspace (look up fluffy r30 broadband absorption and go to the third page if you want to geek out on design and performance). I have also used Vintage Poly Burlap for acoustic panels, which is a bit less durable, tends to snag when stapling (or due to cat claws) and isn't quite as sonically transparent. This Guilford of Maine stuff is better, and the prices reflect that. Very strong with exactly the right amount of stretch. Allowed it to be pulled taut and stapled without any issues.
