A: Carbon fiber

**Q: Will it fit equinox 900?**
A: No, it will not! The 700/900 rods are smaller in diameter and not compatible with the 600/800.

**Q: Will this lower shaft work on a gpx 5000.**
A: It worked on the ML 800.  Not sure of the 5000.

**Q: Does the Minelab Equinox lower shaft come with the plastic hardware for attaching a coil to it?**
A: Mine didn’t.
