Review: Fantastic fountain - I LOVE this fountain. I have tried many different types and brands and this is my favorite so far for function, but definitely in second place for price. Though it is well worth the price. The pump seems better protected and more robust than any of the other four types of fountains I have tried. The carbon filter is a circle that fits completely around the pump, which is great because I have others that slip into grooves and I find they slip out too easily- this one does not. The other filter is a completely different design than others but there is no question in exactly how it sits in the unit (others I’ve tried are easy to place upside down). If you take the flower out of the top it runs nearly soundlessly. My only complaint is the blue light. I haven’t found whether I can turn it off or not yet. I keep this unit in my master bedroom, so the light is bothersome but the water splashing sound is nearly silent. Also if your cat tends to get a rash in their chin from plastic bowls, that will not be an issue with this fountain as the top is stainless steel. Should be a breeze to clean and keep clean also. I’ll update this review with any issues or more information after I’ve used it for a while. But my initial impression is it is a bit expensive but it is definitely worth the price.
Review: Really Nice Fountain - I bought this fountain for my dogs because they are in the house all day while I'm at work and they haven't been wanting to drink out of a dish anymore. They only drink from a spigot outside. Since we purchased this fountain, they are finally willing to drink inside again. The fountain constantly circulates the water, so it stays fresh and clean. Since this is a cat fountain, there is some splash over when my dogs drink from it, but this was remedied by putting the fountain inside of their old water bowl. The kit comes with a "splash pad" as seen in my video, but I have my fountain on wood floors so I didn't want to chance it. The fountain is pleasant to listen to and adds a nice ambience to the kitchen. All of my guests are curious about the fountain and want to know where we got it. Anothet bonus is that I don't have to refill it often. It stays full for 4-5 days and still continues to circulate. The noise in my video is from my husband picking up grocery bags, it isn't the fountain. The kit also comes with cleaning brushes and extra filters. I thought this was a good value for the money. There was minimal assembly needed. Basically just install the filter.

**Q: My pump stopped working. I already tried cleaning it. how do i get a new pump?**
A: Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing POLAME cat fountain. 

Regarding you the issue you mentioned, please check following information:

(1)Fill in water between MIN and MAX. The pump will fail if it runs dry.
(2)Unplug the fountain then plug it back in.
(3)If the motor is humming, try cleaning the motor, making sure nothing is stuck around the impeller.You can also change the foam filter.If the motor is not humming, try replacing the pump.
(4)If the above solutions don't work,please contact us at sales6858@outlook.com.

**Q: I confused that should the pet fountain be kept running at all times, or is it ok to switch it off from time to time, e.g, when the cats are nappinh?**
A: Hi, for my opinion, I recommend leaving the metal cat fountain running at all times so the filter is continually flushed with fresh water. If it is left off for long periods it is possible for mould to grow on the damp filter, this will not happen if it is left running. Don't be concerned about the cost as it only consumes around 1.5W, so will cost only around 7p per day to run.

**Q: Is it easy to be cleaned?**
A: Sure! It is made of total 304 stainless steel and all the parts can be separated. It is super easy to clean and dishwasher safe.

**Q: How often should I replace the filter?**
A: Hi,Thanks for your supporting.

Normally the filter should be changed 2-4 weeks, depending on the number of pets using the fountain. 
We recommend using the filter and replacing it regularly. Because the filter can not only purify and improve the taste of water but also filter the hair or food residues everyday to prevent these garbage blocking the pump's water outlet.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Motor stopped working after 3 months

I bought this for my senior cats, because they really needed it. Easy to assemble, easy to clean which I did regularly and very quiet. I seriously loved this fountain. After the second month, no matter where the water level was it was noisy! and on the 3rd month motor stopped working and now the water won't run through. I do have hard water, which I'm not even sure is the issue because like i said, i cleaned it thoroughly and regularly. So I am soaking the motor in vinegar to see if that helps. If not, then sadly, I don't recommend buying this product. EDIT: soaked motor a few hours in vinegar and back to working again. So if you have hard water, it's probably a good idea to soak motor in vinegar for a few hours when you clean and replace filters.
