I had been trying to find a supplement powder and my friend said Barlean's was superior. She recommended the chocolate flavored Greens, but I happened to see the Superfruit Greens and snatched that up, instead. Really good reviews and I loved the nutrient profile.So, on to what I think. I opened the jar and smelled it. It didn't smell like anything, really, so that was promising. I am always leery of products that contain veggies because most of them taste terrible. I tried some on my fingers. It tasted largely of a fruity drink mix, like something you'd get in a packet for lemonade. Definitely piqued my interest! So far, signs were pointing in a good direction. Then I mixed one scoop in 8 ounces of lite vanilla soy milk and stirred. Tasted pretty much the same as the straight powder but it didn't mix well and I kept getting clumps. I decided I would deal with cleaning the blender later and tossed it in there on low for a few seconds. Perfectly blended, it went back into my cup. Tried it, again. Tastes a bit... odd... in some way I don't have words for at the end, but pretty freaking good! I think it may need a tiny bit of sweetener in it, but I am impressed.I will update later if I make some new discovery or something comes up, but right now I'm quite satisfied! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the product *by on Reviewed in Canada 5 September 2018* Love this product! My question: why not use a smaller container? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I LOVEEEE this formula! *by on Reviewed in the United States 29 July 2017* Like other reviewers have said....the photo shows a white plastic can, however, the product I received came in a dark brown plastic can that said "NEW AND IMPROVED FORMULA". So apparently, they changed the formula and if you purchase this, you will NOT receive the white container. Other reviews said the new formula tastes horrible and the older version was much better. I never bought the older version so I cannot compare the two, however, I LOVEEEE this formula! I bought it to make smoothies for my 7 year old and he LOVES it. This is what I do: 8 oz of almond milk, 1 frozen banana, 3 frozen strawberries, and 1 scoop of this powder and the results is a fabulous strawberry smoothie that my son cannot get enough of!! Initially I bought the chocolate flavor and my son quickly fell in love with it and was requesting for me to make it every single day. Since he loved the chocolate so much, I decided to get the strawberry flavor to alternate between the two, some days I make him the chocolate and other days the strawberry.
