Because this floss is black & plaque is white, I can see just how much plaque it's removing. It's very sturdy & it's very easy to get it between my teeth. I've used other flosses that I have a hard time getting in between my teeth. I've also used flosses that were hard to grip because they're so heavily waxed. That's not a problem with this brand. I bought the stainless steel container because I figured it'd be easy to clean. It is. And the hole in the top that the floss comes through is wide enough that it's not at all difficult to thread the floss through it. I LOVE that the floss itself is biodegradable & vegan & contains no plastic, the container is reusable, & there's no plastic anywhere in the packaging. Anything we can do to reduce the amount of plastic we use is a good thing. Recently I bought refills of the peppermint flavored floss & love it even more than the unflavored floss that came with the container.
