I am African American. I get very dark marks when I get acne and it has lightened up those marks significantly in the 2-3 months that I’ve been using it. They do still exist though. I tend to use it every other day as part of my skin care routine. The product does go on a little bit sticky and will tighten the skin, however when the time comes to wash my face, I can tell there is a clear difference. It definitely leaves a youthful tone. It doesn't irritate my skin nor generate pimples and such. Everyone's skin is different, so test gently.
