Review: Greens Steel is the best! - I love this mug. I bought it because I sometimes stop for a "cappuccino" at a local gas station, and my old coffee mug wouldn't fit under the spout. I wanted something a little smaller. The lid is leakproof when closed (obviously, not when open) although I rarely close it. It keeps my coffee hot for a couple of hours, which is long enough for me to drink it. It fits under all coffee makers. It's easy to clean (I put the lid in the dishwasher now and then). I love the color. It's well-made, and the handle turns out to be useful. I like that the company is about more than just making a profit. They want to do their part to save the world, and I'm all for that. I just wish I needed more of their products! No complaints. This is a great mug.

A: Measuring on outside of cup:  From bottom of cup to top of handle about 8”.  From bottom of cup to top of cup about 6”.  The bottom width is about 2-½”.  The cup expands from bottom to top and the top width of cup is about 3-½”.   Hope this helps.

A: 4.5 inches tall

A: I haven’t actually timed it, but when I go to bed… I still have ice in my cup the next morning. So, a long time.

**Q: Is the lid opening large enough for a metal straw? I usually make iced coffee and prefer to use a straw when iced.**
A: No the opening is not big enough for a metal straw
  I use my cup for hot coffee in the morning and iced coffee in the afternoon and just sip it through the hole.

This coffee mug is just the best thing for me. I usullay drink a 10 0z coffee and I had to work at sipping my 10 oncces through my 16 oz cup. This is a much better size for my needs and it stayed hot for at least 3 hrs. I am a kidney Dialysis patient. The need to control the amount of fluid we drink is very important. I love, love, love this cup and wish I could pass one out to every patient at my dialysis center. It doesn't leak and the handle is perfect for carrying. Now I want one in every color.
