My cat use to love these treats and w/ my last bag she wont touch them - they look different to me too.** A: Vetoquinol lied! Check the old package and it will not have a flavor. The new package will say liver flavor. My cat will not touch the ones that are liver flavor. One cat barfs them up,one can't chew it.** A: I can't say if they changed the formula in that our cat has only been on the Lysine for about five months, and they have always been dark brown and hard (but somewhat moist). Fortunately, our cat loves them, has no problem keeping them down, and they are doing the job of preventing secretions from the eyes. **Q: How many treat are in the bag.** A: I have a small scale and I measured out 20 treats which is 10 g. The bag I purchased is 180 g or 6.35 oz in net weight, so I believe that would be approximately 360 treats in a bag. The directions say to give your cat 6 treats for flare-ups (250mg).
